How is this different from a screenshot?
A screenshot is a photo of your screen: it catches whatever is around the picture, freezes GIFs, and forgets where the picture came from. kudoodle saves the picture file itself, keeps GIFs moving, remembers the page and the creator, and puts it on a board you can search. See them side by side.
Is there a step-by-step guide?
Yes: the help page walks through saving, boards, cropping, finding and downloading, one step at a time, with fixes for common hiccups. Inside the extension, the ? button in your collection shows the same steps.
What can I save with it?
Any picture you can see on a web page: travel photos, recipes, outfits, home and garden ideas, product shots, memes, wallpapers and art. Animated GIFs too, whole or one frame.
Is my collection private?
Yes. Everything you keep stays in your browser. kudoodle has no accounts, no servers and no analytics, and Find similar runs on your own computer. See the privacy policy.
Can I use the images I keep?
Your collection is for you. Each keep shows what its creator allows: Free to reuse, Reuse with conditions, or Personal use only when nothing is stated. If you reuse something, your download has the credit written into each picture and a credits sheet with a ready-to-paste credit line.
Why can't I keep a whole page at once on art sites?
Artists on platforms like ArtStation and Cara have asked not to be collected in bulk, so kudoodle doesn't. You can still keep the pieces you love one at a time.
What does "lifetime" mean? Will the price change?
Pay once and Plus is yours, including future updates. The first 20 copies are $9, for life. Whatever you pay, you never pay again, even if the price goes up later.
How do I unlock Plus after paying?
Your license key arrives by email from Dodo Payments. Open your kudoodle collection, click ★ Get Plus, paste the key and press Unlock. Moving to a new computer? Use "Move Plus to another browser" first.
